Obituary of Helen Rice-Richards

Helen Rice-Richards of Barrie, ON and Red Head Cove, NL passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on November 22, 2022. Predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Billy; granddaughter: Amanda; parents: Thomas and Charlotte; siblings: Mary, Edmund, Robert, and Brendan; sister-in-law: Margaret. Left behind to share her memory and celebrate her life are children: Billy, Denise, and Tammy; grandchildren: Billy, Brendan, Krystyna, Meghan, Rachael, and Ryan; great-grandchildren: Jordynn and Mya; brother: Joseph (Margaret); sisters-in-law: Marie and Margaret; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom she treasured. Helen was a loving, caring, and generous soul who would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She was an active participant in many groups. She loved her bowling family, her Honda (retired) family and her longtime friends and neighbors, Pat, Yvette, and Alice, who were always there for her and much appreciated. Helen had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was kind and passionate and made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m. from Assumption Parish Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
