Obituary of Morgan Chesley Keeping

Passed suddenly away at his residence on Sunday, September 17, 2023, Morgan Chesley Keeping of Harbour Grace, age 79 years. Morgan worked at marine construction most of his life in Ontario. He retired where his heart had always been on “The Rock”. Morgie will always be remembered for the love he had for his family. If you ever wanted to find Morgan it would be on “The Hill”, his happy place. Predeceased by parents: John and Gladys; sister: Sarah Buckley; brothers: Jack, Bill, and Freeman. Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 60 years Shirley; three daughters: Darlene (Paul) Thomey, Sherry (Joseph) Carrato, and Kim (Peter) DiPaolo; son: Paul (Michele); eight grandchildren: Matthew (Maria), Anthony, Brendan, Joey, Megan. Kaleigh, Alyssa, and Julia; two great-grandchildren: Theo and Liv; brother: Bruce (Diane); seven sisters: Phoebie (Stan) Trimm. Grace (Murdock) Hiscock, Mary (Bill) Walsh, Jane (Jim) Bungay, Carolann (Claude) Price, Peggy (Lloyd) Piercey, and Amelia (Al) Winney;brother-in-law: Jim Buckley; sisters-in-law: Marilyn keeping and Liz Keeping; also a large number of other relatives and friends. To honor Morgan's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time.
