Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family and friends at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion on Friday, October 27, 2023, Adeline Evelyn (Snow) Slade of Salmon Cove, age 78 years. Predeceased by husband: Garfield; parents: Walter and Dorothy Snow; sister-in-law: Drucella Penney; brother-in-law: Maxwell Slade. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Sharon Penney, Victoria; son: Ernest, Victoria; six grandchildren: Ian (Lorna), Garfield, Barry, (Victoria), Cody (Kristen), Gina, and Kyle; eleven great-grandchildren: Dustin, Ethan, Brooklynn, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Jaxxon, Ceelo, Deja, Nashton, Daemon, and Renata; brother: Walter (Phyllis) Snow, South River; three sisters: Grace (Gerald) Rose, Salmon Cove, Carol Snow, Carbonear, and Tina (Alan) Ross, Dundas, ON; son-in-law: Robert Penney; daughter-in-law: Shawna Gillard; granddaughter-in-law: Jessica Galway; special friend: Tory; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, November 2 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, November 3 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
