Bev, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. She was always nice to me. I remember when we were kids growing up in Toronto going to the store to get her lottery tickets. She would give you a list of the numbers she wanted to play. When I went to Newfoundland for your wedding, your Mom and Dad were so welcoming and nice to us. They even gave us their room to stay in. I also recall our many weekends we spent together in Toronto. Thelma was a great friend, and a beautiful quiet lady. My sincerest condolences to each one of you. My beautiful nanny inside and out, with a true heart of gold, so pure and true. I cannot seem to put into words a goodbye so instead I consider this a thank you. Thank you for being the best grandmother to me, for loving me and making my life so special. Thank you for teaching me how to be patient and for including me in everything you did. I will never forget our spur of the moment adventures and places travelled together. Thank you for all of the memories, the belly laughs we both shared until we pee’d ourselves & recipes you would tell me to try but I could never get just right. From our after tea phone calls to our summer evenings on the patio I will greatly miss but will certainly treasure every single moment xoxo Rest In peace. I love you forever and more Xoxo my angel

My dearest Mom, you were a ray of sunshine in my life, and I can’t believe you’re gone. You were an angel here on earth, and now you are with the angels in heaven. You were an amazing mom. Your mild-manner, your sweet smile, your patience and kindness were known to everyone and I felt your love everyday. My heart breaks, knowing I will never see you again here on this earth, but we will still talk in my prayers. I’m so proud to call you my mom. Every time I try out a new food recipe. I will think of you, knowing that you taught me well, but there’s no comparison, for you could “put a taste on an old rubber boot” like many would say. I will miss your Sunday dinners dearly and all the joy and happiness you brought into my life. I am the woman I am today because of you and I’m so proud and tremendously lucky to have be given a mother like you. I love you mom, rest in peace until, we meet again .

Mom, I can’t Believe you are no longer with us. And although I am happy you didn’t suffer, you went too soon. You were such a kind, caring, thoughtful person. You had a great sense of humor. You loved to laugh and have fun and enjoyed making others smile. Never showed anger or had a mean bone in your body. You were a great cook, and I will miss how excited you would get when I would give you a new recipe to try. You were an extremely hard worker, to a point where coworkers would say “ Slow down Thelma you’re making us look bad. You kept a spotless home and would be happy to clean mine if I let you. You showed us a kind of love that will be etched in our hearts forever. Whenever I’m missing you, I will remember how fortunate I was to have you as my mom and I will celebrate all the moments we shared. You wiill Be in my heart forever and always love, Lori and Lucy xoxo
