PILGRIM, George W. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, May 2, 2013, George W. Pilgrim of Carbonear, age 94 years. Predeceased by wife: Margaret; son: Wellington; parents: Hayward and Adelaide; brothers: William and Frederick; sister: Minnie. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Lorraine Dwyer Waterman, Toronto, ON and Helen (Ross) LeDrew, Carbonear; four sons: Bramwell (Winnifred) and Carlson (Debbie Rockwood), both of Carbonear, Kent (Violet), Dildo and Craig, Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Lillian Pilgrim, Carbonear; twelve grandchildren: Shawn, Lynnette, Shane, Michael, Michelle, McGregor, Kathryn, Brooks, Bret, Braeden, Kristan and Carla; sixteen great-grandchildren: Cassandra, Jenny, Garrett, Jillian, Ethan, Joshua, Alexander, Brooklyn, Matthew, Nathan, Michael, Rachel, Liam, Callie, Dekota and David; sister-in-law: Elsa Pilgrim, Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully declined or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
