Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial on Sunday, May 5, 2024, Richard Butler of Carbonear, formerly of Bristol’s Hope, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Sadie Butler; brothers: Thomas, Jim (Kay), and Patrick (Dorothy). Leaving to mourn, nieces: Bernadette, Lori, Joanne, Kayla and their families; nephews: Brian, Michael, Chris, Jimmy and their families; special family friends: Edith Griffin and Jessie Murray and their families; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, May 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.
