Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on June 15, 2024, Gordon Verge of Harbour Grace, age 78 years. Predeceased by son: Gordie; granddaughter: Victoria; parents: George and Hazel Verge; brother: Walter; infant sister: Rachel. Leaving to mourn, wife: Mary; daughters: Wendy (Michael) and Mandy (Paul); son: Blair (Dawn); grandchildren: Angel, Braydon, Cody, Tyler, Josh, Brody, Mackenzie, Kiera, Cameron, and Colin; great-grandchild: Aiden; brothers: Wayne (Leslie), Don (Elizabeth), and Harold (Shirley); sisters: Evelyn (John - deceased) and Susan (Bill-deceased);sister-i-law: Betty Verge; special neighbours: Frank and Frankie Cooper, Jason and Heather McCarthy; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church. Interment at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
