My dearest friend I will miss our chats and times together you were always special to me . To Margs family I would like to share this verse that I am-sure you can hear her saying to you each and everyone especially to her granddaughter Sheena (You were her rock and she was yours. ) Don’t grieve for me ,for I am free I’m following his hand when I heard his call I turned my back and left it all I could not stay another day To laugh to love to work or play Tasks left undone must stay that way I’ve found that peace at the close of the day I know my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy A friendship shared a laugh a kiss Ah yes these things I too will miss Be not burdened with tears of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow My life been full I savoured much Good freinds good times a my loved ones touch Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don’t lengthen it not with undue grief Lift your heart and share with me God wanted me now he set me free Marg will be forever loved and forever remembered. I remember getting hired at Earls Fisheries in Carbonear one summer. I found out later the only reason I got the job was because they thought I was her daughter. We both got a good laugh out of that. While I worked there she would give me a ride everyday in her red Thunderbird with white leather seats, what a beatiful lookin car. The main thing I remember though was how nice she was to me, right up until a few weeks before she went to be with her son David. No matter where she was or where I was she always manage to stay in touch with me over the yrs. I’m truly going to miss her. With all my love Daphne (Kelloway) Kavanagh

My family has known marg for as long as I can remember. She was an amazing woman and loved life and the people she cherished. We always looked forward to her visits to Cambridge she treated my children and us as if we were hers. She always made us laugh and we will miss her dearly.

I remember the first time I met Margaret, as Paul’s partner. I called her Mrs. Kelloway. She had none of that & quickly greeted me with a warm hug & told me to call her Marg. I was so nervous meeting her. But in true Marg fashion she put me at ease & was kind & welcoming. I will always remember her as being outgoing, with her hair done just right, matching jewelry & dressed to impress. Julie
