I will greatly miss Uncle Cecil as he was such a genuine and warm person. He always made me feel more like a daughter than a niece. I’ll always remember him in the yard drying caplin and at the cabin heading off to trout fish, such sweet memories. With much love

We will never forget Uncle Cecil’s big hearted personality and wit. We always enjoyed his stories which he told with energy and enthusiasm. Tracy, Tina, Warren Wynette and Oates Family Mac and I are so sorry to learn Cecil passed this morning, August 24th. He was our neighbour for 26 years, wonderful friend and such a nice family. So much hospitality in Cecil’s family, over the years we enjoyed many activities together; cards, snowmobiling, cookups at their cabin in Gunners Pond. Mac and Cecil loved a day or two together at the cabin in Terra Nova, but, I think what they enjoyed most was in the woods cutting their wood for the winter and having a boil up. Rest In Peace Cecil. We are thinking of you at this very difficult time and hope that all the memories each of you experienced with your Dad will help to comfort you now. To Cecil's family, I got to know Cec really well when he had his greeter job at Walmart, such a nice, friendly, down to earth true gentleman, He brought me a bucket of his delicious strawberries and we all enjoyed them, so kind & generous.
