Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear on Saturday, August 31, 2024, William J.'Bill' Traverse of Kingston, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Catherine Traverse; brothers: David, James, Michael (Bridget); sisters: Bride (Anthony), Theresa (Timothy), and Anastasia (Richard). Leaving to mourn, brothers: Jack (Bride), Phil (Margaret); sister-in-law: Mary Traverse; also a large number of nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, great-great nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. Thank you to the staff of 3 North of the Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion for their care and compassion. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, September 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 4 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, September 4 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kingston. Interment in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kingston.
