Obituary of Tom Snow

Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Sunday, September 8, 2024, with his loving wife of 62 years by his side Thomas W. 'Tom' Snow of Victoria, age 79 years. He was surrounded by family, friends, and the caring nursing and support staff. Predeceased by parents: Leonard and Myrtle; parents-in-law: Charles and Elva Chubbs; sisters: Evelyn Hoskinson, Lillian (Gerald Clarke), and Darlene (Bob Hennessey); brothers-in-law: Clarence and Lloyd Chubbs. Leaving to mourn, wife: Florence; daughter: Janice (Grant), Brookside, NS; sons: Ken (Eileen), Wabush, and Wayne (Julie), Port Rexton; Tom adored his 3 grandchildren: Kimberley (Charlie Bishop), St. John's, Jordan (Kristen Lee), Calgary, AB and Cali, Brookside, NS; brother: Len (Gertie), Upper Island Cove; sisters-in-law: Louise (John Foote), Carbonear, Phyllis Chubbs, Carbonear, and Anna-Mary Follett (Dave), St. John's; brother-in-law: Bob Hoskinsons, Victoria; neighbours Kelly and Scott Reid, Victoria; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends from near and far. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday, September 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. Interment in Victoria United Cemetery. Livestream will be available through Victoria United Church Pastoral Charge.
