SLADE, Geraldine - Passed peacefully away at her residence on Friday, May 10, 2013, Geraldine Slade of Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Edward 'Ned' Slade. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Wanda (Ray) Bastarache, Harbour Grace; two sons: Gerald (Juanita), Woodstock, ON and Howard (Susan), Harbour Grace; six grandchildren: Shelley, Steve (Jayme), Danny (Jill), Jeremy (Terri Lynn), Emily and Adam; six great-grandchildren: Michael, Maykala, Madeline, Jordan, Elizabeth and Olivia; two sisters: Bernice and Shirley, both of Ontario; sisters-in-law: Ruth, Bay Roberts, Marjorie, Salmon Cove and Elva, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 13 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.
