Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on September 18, 2024, Helen Piraeus Penney of Victoria, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: Maxwell; granddaughter: Laura-lee; parents: Cephas and Sarah Osmond; sisters: Marie Chubbs and Leona Forward; brothers: George, Arthur, Cecil, and Robert. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Sandra Penney (William - deceased), Mount Pearl; 4 sons: Raymond (Lynette), Victoria, Freeman (Mona), Georgetown, Cliff (Pauline), Spaniard's Bay, Carl (Lorraine), Holyrood; 12 grandchildren: Glen (Terri), Christopher, Brandon (Chloe), Elizabeth (Mark), Thomas, David (Kasie), Dionne (Nicole), Stephen (Deanne), Bradley, Mark (Heather), Megan (Dave), Mackenzie; 15 great-grandchildren; sister: Margaret Baker; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, September 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear.
