Obituary of Lavinia "Venie" Wareham

Passed peacefully away at Agnes Pratt Home, St. John’s on October 18, 2024, "Venie" Wareham of St. John’s, formerly of Carbonear, age 72 years. Predeceased by son: Keith; grandchildren: Kolby, Alexandra, and Kennedy; parents: Cyril and Dorothy Drodge. Leaving to mourn, husband: Lon; sons: Brian (Trina) Wareham and Mark (Sherri) Wareham; daughter: Lori (Gerald) Clements; daughter-in-law: Dawn Wareham; grandchildren: Allan, Tyler, Bronwyn, Ella, Avery, Rylee, Kinsley, Cael, and Luke; brother: Wesley (Jeanne) Drodge; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Penney and the staff of Agnes Pratt Home for the excellent care they provided to Venie over the past number of years. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, October 21 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
