Obituary of Eloise P. Pike

Please share a memory of Eloise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Eloise P. (Noel) Pike at the age of 74 years, on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Eloise was born and raised alongside her sister Joan and brother Kenneth in Freshwater, Carbonear to the late Reuben F. and Susie Noel. As a young woman Eloise lived in Carbonear where she worked at Scotiabank while raising her two daughters. She had unconditional love for her family, was dedicated to her career, and to her community. She was an avid sewer and was passionate about quilting, making many quilts with the guild until her Parkinson’s would no longer allow her to do so. She had so many great qualities; however, the ones that stand out are her positive attitude and her resilience, combined with her strong faith. Leaving to celebrate a lifetime of memories and love are her two daughters: Lisa (Terry) Anderson, Carbonear and Lori (Craig) Russell, Bay Roberts; spouse: Frank Parsons, and his children, Robert (Kim), their daughter, Kelsie, and Allison, her children: Bailee and Mitchell; sister: Joan (Milton) Peach, Carbonear; brother: Kenneth (Cynthia) Noel, Carbonear; nieces: Michelle (Art), their daughter, Abbigayle and Sheri (Barry), all of Carbonear; also a number of other relatives and many friends. A special thank you is extended to caregivers, Patsy, Sharon, Karen, and Jackie, and to all those who loved her. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, November 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, November 4 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. Interment in Freshwater United Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Parkinson Society of NL, 136 Crosbie Road, Suite 305, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3K3, nlparkinson.ca.
