Obituary of Geoffrey Paul Broderick

Please share a memory of Geoffrey to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Geoffrey Paul Broderick, aged 43 years, of Western Bay on November 25, 2024 after a courageous, but brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by his sister: Baby Paula Broderick; grandparents: Peter and Gertrude Broderick; grandfather: Lawrence Lewis. Leaving to mourn, wife: Robyn; two daughters: Cailey (Tyson Noonan) and Riley; parents: Paul and Cynthia Broderick; brothers: Jamie (Erica) and Dewey (Madina); sister: Deanne (Corey) Squires; nephews and nieces: Kaden, Kolton, Kylie, Miley, Tyson, and Brayden; grandmother: Frances Lewis; parents-in-law: John and Roxanne Fitzgerald; and a wide circle of family, friends, and loved ones who will always remember his kind heart and adventurous spirit. Geoffrey was a man of many passions, finding his greatest joys in the outdoors. Whether trouting, exploring the woods, or camping under the open sky, he felt most at peace surrounded by nature. He was also deeply committed to his work, taking immense pride in everything he accomplished. Geoffrey’s greatest treasures in life were his wife and their two daughters. His love for them was boundless, and they were the center of his world. His beloved little dog, Bella, was his faithful companion, always by his side. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay on Friday, November 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday November 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Western Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Geoffrey Broderick Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A6.
