Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion on Sunday, December 22, 2024, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Annie Squires of Old Perlican, aged 89 years.
Predeceased by husband: Raymond; parents: Stewart and Maisie Drodge; parents-in-law: Moses and Mabel Squires; brothers: William Drodge (Rachel), Clifford Drodge (Emma), and Stanley Drodge (Audrey); sister: Daphne Young; sister- in- law: Louise Squires; brothers- in- law: Robert Squires, Bertram Squires (Marie), and Dougald Squires.
Leaving to mourn with loving and cherished memories daughter: Yvonne Brewer (Dave); son Randy Squires (Patsy); grandchildren: Dave Brewer, Heidi Brewer (Robyn), and Adam Squires (Jackie); her beloved great grandchildren: Parker, Tanner, Landon and Ethan; brother-in-law: Calvin Young; sister-in-law: Nita Squires; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Our family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of Kingsway Living Baccalieu, Old Perlican, Lions Manor, Placentia and Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear for the care and attention given to our mom and nan over the past eight years.
Visitation to take place on Monday, December 23 at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay from 2:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to be held at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
Interment in St. Andrew’s by the Sea United Cemetery, Old Perlican.
