DEERING, Annie A. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, Annie A. Deering of Carbonear, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband: James; brother: Leo; sisters: Phoebe and Vinnie. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Laura (Harold) Hiscock and Anne Deering, both of Carbonear, Doris (Reginald) Rogers, Scarborough, ON and Audrey (David) Rideout, Cormac; two sons: Stanley (Loretta), Flatrock, Carbonear and Jordan (Phyllis), Carbonear; ten grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; five brothers: Albert (Marie) Reid, Stewart (Doreen) Reid and Clarence Reid, all of Heart's Delight, Wendell (Ethel) Reid and Elliott (Carol) Reid, both of Western Bay; five sisters: Violet (Gordon) Halley and Geraldine Redman, both of St. John's, Hilda May (Ray) Tucker, Mount Pearl, Audrey (Lindsay) Kelloway, Whiteway and Jane (Harold) Childs, Heart's Delight; sisters-in-law: Dolly (Edward) Clarke, Carbonear and Elizabeth (Charles) Moores, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
