Thinking of the end of the gardening - harvest is the richest time to be blessed with. It keeps you close to us despite the seasons coming to an end. It fosters new hopes of what to come from the seeds we sow. Your girls are missing you.

One of the things I remember about getting older was when I was able to go off to the store for dad to get the ingredients for his clam chowder.... to make for our company that evening. Mom thought it was too late--- not dark yet but he convinced her I'd be good to go safely. (I hid a jack knife in my pants pocket to be sure)I took my time walking by myself but got spooked on the way back and started to run past a wooded area. Just in time for the police to see I looked guilty so they stopped me. They caught a glimpse of the shiny object in my back pocket and asked why I had the knife. I told them my dad wanted chowder and I was in a hurry to get back from the store. They brought me home in the back seat which caused a bit of alarm when I walked in the front door. Mom was shocked and dad walked into the kitchen with an immediate grin. The police told them of my knife and my urgency to get home. Since they were friends of dad (Military Police) all they wanted for assurance I would no longer be armed was a bowl of his chowder. Mom and dad continued to have his chowder every Saturday night until his passing I'm told.

To Dear Ruth and Family, Condolences and Deepest Sympathy from Ireland. Thinking of you all at this sad time. Remembering Kevin in our prayers. Kevin was a member of Wild Geese GAA Club, in Oldtown, Co. Dublin. Ireland. From Joan and Family. God saw the road was getting rough, The hill too hard to climb. He came up to your bedside, And whispered "Peace be Thine". He whispered o so softly, That only you could hear. Nobody heard the footsteps, Of the Angels drawing near. Without Farewell You took God's hand, And went with him to a better land.

Hi Dad; I've seen much joy in your smiling Irish eyes while pondering pictures of your time shared with family n' friends, and through your life that cast far and wide. My wishful blessing for you now as you continue the journey with your heavenly family is this....... May your heart be warm and happy With your lilt of Irish laughter Every day in every way And the forever of ever after. May brooks n' trees and singing green hills And God's gardens now before you Join in the chorus too. And know every gentle wind that blows Sends my heart felt pride in you, and relief and happiness in your new journey~ free of fear, pain, and turmoil. With love and great memories of years gone by, & of special moments we shared these past weeks, I bid you farewell for now. Your loving daughter, Terri
