Obituary of Eva Franzen

Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizens Home in Carbonear on Sunday, August 11, 2013 in her 99th year. Predeceased by her husband Hans, her daughter Christiane, her sister Anne and her brother Karl. Leaving to mourn her son-in-law John Joy and her close friends Doris and Ted Murphy, as well as a number of nieces and nephews in Germany and friends in Newfoundland. Special thanks to the staff at the Interfaith Citizens Home. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral will take place at Bethany United Church in Carbonear on August 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The release of ashes will be a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation www.cwf-fcf.org or to a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear.
