SLADE, George William 'Will' - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Saturday, October 12, 2013, George William 'Will' Slade of Victoria, age 62 years. Predeceased by parents: Eben and Dorothy 'Dot', infant brother, parents-in-law: Jim and Alfreda Cull, sister-in-law: Alma Meadus and brothers-in-law: Raymond, Cyril and Graham Cull. Leaving to mourn, wife: Eileen; daughter: Lisa (Brian) Cole, Victoria; sister: Isabelle (Roscoe) Cole, Victoria; four brothers-in-law: Carmond (Lorna) Cull and Wayne (Angela) Cull, both of Broad Cove, Stephen (Phyllis) Cull and Cecil Meadus, both of Carbonear; three sisters-in-law: Pearl Cull, Western Bay, Phyllis Cull and Joan Cull, both of Broad Cove; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Church Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
