SMITH, Claudette Paula - Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, Claudette Paula Smith of Victoria, age 55 years. Predeceased by parents: Allan and Mollie Clarke; brothers: Reginald, Edward and William. Leaving to mourn, husband: Bernard; daughter: Adrianna, Victoria; son: Ross, Bonneville, AB; two grandchildren: Dustin and Madison; five sisters: Greta (Sergio) Silvaggi, Annie (Elihu) Snook, Donna (Dave) Downing and Mona (Dennis) Cole, all of Victoria and Goldie (Danny) Mercer, Scarborough, ON; brothers-in-law: Tolson (Judy) Smith and Allan (Donna) Smith, both of Victoria; sister-in-law: Della (Raymond) Trickett, Victoria; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Friday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Claudette Paula Smith Memorial Fund.
