Obituary of Sadie Mercer Peddle

MERCER-PEDDLE, Sadie - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, March 17, 2008, Sadie Mercer Peddle of Spaniard's Bay, age 66 years. Predeceased by daughter: Pamela; parents: Michael and Violet Mercer; brothers: Joseph and John; sister: Shirley. Leaving to mourn son: Paul (Carol Saunders), Spaniard's Bay; five brothers: George Mercer, Toronto, ON, David (Kathleen) Mercer, Harbour Grace, Tom (Phoebe) Mercer and Stanley (Naomi) Mercer, both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace and Bill Mercer (Bonnie Collins), St. John's; three sisters: Ennett Dewer, London, England, Violet Wilcox (Russ Farrell), Barrie, ON and Kathleen (Ron) Lynch, Upper Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE and from where the funeral will take place on Thursday, March 20 at 10:00 a.m. Mass at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Saturday, March 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
