BRODERICK, Raymond H. 'Ray' - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 6, 2014, Raymond H. 'Ray' Broderick of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 69 years. Predeceased by father: Charles; sisters: Donna and Viola; brothers: Alvin and Stanley. Leaving to mourn, wife: Emily; one daughter: Denise (Bob) Snow, Harbour Grace; one son: Duane (Dorothy), Sioux Lookout, ON; three grandchildren: Robert, Ruth and Charles; mother: Doris, Freshwater, Carbonear; members of the Langer and Stevens Families; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear, Interment in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
