DEAN, Richard - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, Richard Dean of Victoria, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Ethel; brothers: Elihu, Eldred, Jordan (Margaret) and William; daughter-in-law: Paulette. Leaving to mourn, wife: Olive; two daughters: Betty (Ron) Frampton, NS and Eunice (Wayne) Rose, Victoria; five sons: Wallace (Rosalie), Eldred (Lois), Everett (Linda), Wade (Marina), all of Victoria and Hank (Angela), Roddickton; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; two brothers: Albert (Joan), Harbour Grace and Rendell, Victoria; four sisters: Bertha Mae Clarke, Margaret (George) Rowe and Linda (Harold) Clarke, all of Victoria and Shirley (Ted) Hefford, Heart's Content; sisters-in-law: Alice Dean, AB and Eileen (Freeman) Smith, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitations hours by request of the family on Tuesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, January 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in the Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Carbonear General Hospital, C/o TCP Health Foundation, 86 Highroad South, Carbonear, NL A1Y 1A9.
