LAYDEN, Rev. Albert George- Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, April 24, 2008, Rev. Albert George Layden of Harbour Grace, age 62 years. Professional Engineer. Predeceased by parents: Albert and Virda; brothers: Edwin, Allan and Vernon. Leaving to mourn: wife: Jeanette; one daughter: Melissa (Freeman), Victoria; three sons: Anthony (Kelly), Ottawa, ON, Albert (Stella), Brampton, ON and Ira (Cheryl), Pouch Cove; five grandchildren: Abigail, Isabelle, Justin, Kaleb and Nicholas; five brothers: Wilson (Maxine), Victoria, Gene, Harbour Grace, Jim (Paula), Terry (Gwen) and Vernon (Vanessa), all of Victoria; four sisters: Hilda (Bill) Jarvis, Mount Pearl, Virda (Gene) Cole, Beulah Layden and Paulette Duggan, all of Victoria; sisters-in-law: Evelyn Layden, Yellowknife, Barbara Layden and Patricia Layden, both of Victoria; special family friend: Lori Chaulk, Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE. Funeral service to take place on Monday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
