Obituary of Ada L. Galway

GALWAY, Ada L. - Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, Ada L. Galway of Harbour Grace, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: Michael; daughter: Melita; son-in-law: Fred Dove; sisters: Veronica and Jean; step-brother: Matthew. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Patsy (Reg) Galway and Sarah Dove, both of Harbour Grace and Cathy (Steve) Parsons, St. John's; one son: Andrew, Harbour Grace; twelve grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother: John (Inez) Gear, Bell Island; five sisters: Sarah (Dougall) Reid, Bell Island, Belinda (Gord) Reid and Mildred (Gord) Dwyer, both of Toronto, ON, Doris (Baxter) Penney, Carbonear and Myrtle Gear, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Thursday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Cremation to follow. Inurnment on Wednesday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. from the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
