PYE, Frederick W. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, April 17, 2014, Frederick W. Pye of Carbonear, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Leonard and Elsie; brothers: Harvey and George; sisters: Lilly, Ruby, Eileen and Linda. Leaving to mourn, wife: Shirley; two daughters: Jackie (Calvin) Drover, Upper Island Cove and Kelly (Duane) Antle, Come by Chance; three sons: Frederick (Marlinda Mooney), Cole Harbour, NS, Tony (Margaret), Gander and Chris (Tracey), Carbonear; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Chesley (Elsie), Carbonear and Lorne (Mary), Calgary, AB; sister-in-law: Barbara Pye, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's Choice.
