RODGERS, Alice - Passed peacefully away at Dr. G.B. Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, Alice Rodgers of Burnt Point, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: James; parents: Edward and Ellen Fahey; sister: Julia; brothers: William and Patrick; brothers-in-law: Dave Woodfine and Morgan Hogan. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Sheila (Mark) Kelly, Grand Falls, Mary (Rod) Vardy and Shelly Rodgers, both of Clarenville; four sons: Chris (Dena), Torbay, Edwin (Angela), Adeytown, Jim (Alice), Victoria and Patrick (Sharon), Fort McMurray, AB; eight grandchildren: Ben (Denise), Matthew, Sarah (Alex), Jeremy (Tonya), Olivia, Caleb, Ashley and Ryan; one sister: Anne Hogan, Northern Bay; sisters-in-law: Madeline (Chris) Kavanagh, Flatrock and Mary Fahey, Northern Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, May 2 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
