HUNT, Emma Almeda (Meda) nee Drover - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, May 5, 2014, Meda Hunt of Harbour Grace, age 95 years. Predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, William H. Hunt of Harbour Grace on January 24, 1998; parents: Albert and Emma Drover; sisters: Gladys Lundrigan, Janet Noseworthy and Bertha Adams; brother: Joseph Drover. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Enid (Frank) Taylor, St. John's and Brenda (Paul) Stevenson, Harbour Grace; son: Charles (Mae) Hunt, Harbour Grace; six grandchildren: Philip Butler (Leslie), Paradise, Steven Butler, Mount Pearl, Matthew Stevenson (Sharon), St. John's, Emily Stevenson (Brian Tucker), Gander, Heather (Clifford Smith), Bay Roberts and David Hunt (Karen), Portugal Cove; six great-grandchildren: Joshua, Isaac, Claire, Sally, Patrick and Jameson and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace with visitation hours by request of the family, Tuesday, May 6 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy donations in Meda's memory may be made to St. Paul's Music Café Roof Restoration Fund.
