HOYLES, Capt. Jacob A.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, May 9, 2008, Capt. Jacob A. Hoyles of Harbour Grace, age 65 years. Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Rosanna; brother: John; father-in-law: Edmond Beaudoin. Leaving to mourn, wife: Sandra M.; two sons: Jacob E. (Nancy) Clarenville and Gary (Judy), Carbonear; five grandchildren: Nicole, Joshua, Victoria, Matthew and Hailey; six sisters: Verna Canning, Gander, Helen Stewart, Ann Hoyles, Selma Beaudoin and Joan (Harold) King, all of Carbonear and Bernice Hoyles (Jesse Johnson), Colbourg, ON; mother-in-law: Johanna Beaudoin, Windsor, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, May 12 at 10:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
