Obituary of Tom Hynes

HYNES, Tom- Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, May 12, 2008, Tom Hynes of Carbonear, age 60 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Lillian. Leaving to mourn, wife: Catherine; two daughters: Rhonda and Anne, both of Carbonear; one son: David, Carbonear; four grandchildren: Daniel, Mark, Adam and Leah; three brothers: John (Marion), Mount Pearl, Hughie, St. John's and William (Lillian), Carbonear; one sister: Rita (Dawson) Pynn, Chamberlains; sisters-in-law: Marina (Matt) Brazil, Spaniard's Bay, Joan Arns, St. John's, Mary (Ben) Baker and Nora (Bill) Kent, both of Carbonear, Bride (Larry) Penney, Torbay and Paula Quinn (Tom), Mount Pearl; brothers-in-law: Ned (Gee) Dwyer and Jim (Angela) Dwyer, both of Carbonear, Ron (Joan) Dwyer, Blackhead and Paul (Marina) Dwyer, Upper Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass to take place Thursday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment on Saturday. May 17 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Davis Elementary School Breakfast Program, Carbonear.
