SWAIN, Tenna Denise - Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with melanoma at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, July 7, 2014, Tenna Denise Swain of Carbonear, age 41 years. Predeceased by grandparents: Phenie-Mae and Stanley Swain and Blanche and David Oates. Leaving to mourn, husband: Cory; one daughter: McKenna; two sons: Kylan and Kaleb; parents: Les and Shirley Swain, Carbonear; one sister: Melanie Swain (Jim Kinney), Edmonton, AB; mother-in-law: Lynette Mercer (Phillip), Carbonear; father-in-law: Robert Crocker (Connie), Cambridge, ON; sister-in-law: Kimberley Crocker (David), Carbonear; nephew: Gabriel; niece: Brooklyn and members of the Carpenter family; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. A private family inurnment will be held in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Melanoma Network of Canada, 1155 North Service Road West, Unit 11, Oakville, ON, L6M 3E3 or visit www.melanomanetwork.ca.
