EDDY, W. Charles - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, W. Charles Eddy of Victoria, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Elizabeth, half brothers and sisters: Jack, Carrie, Louise, Gordon, Hector, Andrew and Doris, sister-in-law: Ruby. Leaving to mourn, wife: Hilda; daughter: Joy (Roland) Smith, Spaniard's Bay; two grandchildren: Tiffany (Patrick) and Victoria; brothers-in-law: Fred (Belinda) Cramm and Gordon (Rosalyn) Cramm, both of Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, July 11 at 1:30 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Sibley's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 59, Victoria, NL, A0A 4G0 or the United Church Cemetery Fund, General Delivery, Sibley's Cove, NL, A0B 1H0.
