THOMAS, Donald Lloyd - passed peacefully away after a long illness with cancer at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, BC on Saturday, July 12, 2014, Donald Lloyd Thomas, formerly of Harbour Grace, age 57 years. Predeceased by partner: Allan Ingram and former partner: Jeffrey Edgell; parents: Lloyd and Mildred (Hollett) Thomas; brother: Jimmy; step-mother: Blanche Pike Thomas; step-brother: John Pike; uncle: Ken Hollett and aunt and uncle Magretta and Ches Powers. Leaving to mourn, uncles: Charl (Marg) and Art (Joan); aunts: Georgie Edwards (Albert, deceased), Evelyn Janes (Clarence, deceased), Marie Hollett (Frank, deceased); step-brothers: Lloyd (Glenda) Pike, Butch (Faye) Pike, and step-sister-in-law: Betty Pike; special cousins: Robin Lynch, Wanda Garland and Jackie Lake; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Memorial service to be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Inurnment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Blackhead. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Blackhead United Cemetery Fund, c/o Mr. David Hollett, RR1, Site 6, Box 22, Adam's Cove, NL, A1Y 1C6.
