GREENE, Robert William- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2008, Robert William Greene of Western Bay, age 96 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Sarah Greene; brothers-in-law: Eric Perry, Fred Perry and James McConnell; sister-in-law: Julia Sickle. Leaving to mourn: wife: Tryphenia; daughter: Wendy Greene, Toronto, ON; son: Fred Greene, Western Bay; brother-in-law: James (Helen) Perry, Winnipeg, MB; sisters-in-law: Phyllis McConnell, Toronto, ON and Shirley (Ross) Steele, St. John's; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral Service to take place on Sunday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay North. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to McDowell United Church.
