BUTT, Lorna Ann - Passed suddenly away at her residence on Sunday, May 25, 2008, Lorna Ann Butt of Carbonear, age 61 years. Predeceased by parents: Albert and Martha Burke; sisters: Gertie, May and Linda; brother: Sam; brothers-in-law: Kevin and Albert 'Ab'; sister-in-law: Dorothy. Leaving to mourn, husband: Michael, daughter: Valerie (Jamie) Slade, Victoria; two sons: Albert (Darlene Smith), Carbonear and Michael (Maureen), Calgary, AB; five grandchildren: Morgan, Hailey, Ryan, Matthew and Michaela; five brothers: Art (May) Burke, Victoria, Don (Anne) Burke, Bishop's Falls, Gord (Betty) Burke and Bob (Linda) Burke, both of Gander and Al (Frances) Burke, Victoria; sisters-in-law: Mary Power, Labrador City, Cheryl (Bob) Batten and Ella (John) Day, both of Carbonear; brother-in-law: Milton Noseworthy, Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral mass to take place on Thursday, May 29 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Lorna Ann Butt Memorial Fund.
