Obituary of Charles Sutton

SUTTON, Charles 'Dennis' (April 29, 1945 - September 28, 2014) - Passed peacefully away, after a short but courageous battle with cancer in the comforting loving arms of his loved ones, at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, September 28, 2014, Charles 'Dennis' Sutton of Harbour Grace, age 69 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Lexey Sutton; parents-in-law: Michael and Agnes Jordan; Ambrose and Mary Bray; sisters: Leah and Betty; infant brother: Wendell. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife, Patricia; three sons: Stephen (Ruby), Spruce Grove, AB, Jeffrey (Kimberley), CBS and Billy (Jamie), St. John's; six grandchildren: Rachel, Mitchell, D'arci, Kaitlyn, Ryan and Colin; sister: Elsie (Hardy) Manuel, Cole Harbour, NS; brother: Bill (Ellie) Sutton, Montegue, PEI; also a large circle of friends and extended family. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon; 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday, October 1 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
