SKINNER, Muriel V. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, October 11, 2014, Muriel V. Skinner of Ochre Pit Cove, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Ernest and sister: Evelyn (Hayward) Bursey. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Doris (Ray) Sellars, Western Bay; son: Victor (Phyllis), Ochre Pit Cove; six grandchildren: Roger (Janice), Glen (Judy), Jeff (Jaime), Curtis (Lori), Joshua (Eve) and Candace; five great-grandchildren: Justin (Tiffany), Jordan, Zachary, Cassi and Beckett; great-great-grandson: Wyatt; three sisters: Grace (Allan, deceased) Turner, Lower Island Cove, Leona (Arthur) LeGrow, St. John's and Emeline (Larry) Winsor, Seal Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 14 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund or the Children's Wish Foundation.
