ENGLISH, Walter J. - Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Sunday, October 12, 2014, Walter J. English of Job's Cove, age 100 years. Predeceased by wife: Johanna; parents: Tom and Mary; brothers: Dennis (Madeline) and Leo (Freda); sisters: Annie (Will), Molly (Thomas), Kathleen and Martha (Jerry). Leaving to mourn, daughter: Kathleen, Job's Cove; three grandchildren: Dan (Sue), Carleen and Jim (Brenda); seven great-grandchildren: Michael, Amy, Sarah, Millisa, Josh, Andrew and Kenda; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Theresa Murphy, Corner Brook; special nieces: Elizabeth Dregar and Bride English; many other nieces and nephews; special friend and caregiver: Rose Oliver; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, October 14 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
