Obituary of Hemen C. Wheeler

WHEELER, Hemen C. - Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Thursday, October 30, 2014, Hemen C. Wheeler of Lower Island Cove, age 93 years. Predeceased by wife: Stella; parents: Joshua and Magdeline; brothers: Levi, Wilson and George; sisters: Florence, Ethel and Bessie. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Margaret Wheeler, Mount Pearl, Myrtle (Bob) Jewers, Lower Island Cove and Fern Wheeler, St. John's; four grandchildren: Glenn (Sonya), Trevor, Gregory (Kelly) and Kirk (Chrystal); ten great-grandchildren: Ryan, Hailey, Randi, Kennadi, Brayden, Parker, Ashton, Joshua, Brittany and Janessa; sisters-in-law: Janet Knapman, New York and Eliza Knapman, Lower Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Friday from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Lower Island Cove.
