Deepest sympathy to the Emberley and North families. I'll always remember Uncle Paul as a great story teller, thinker and very inventive person. He enjoyed talking about the past. He was always interested in the family and asked questions about their well-being. He will be greatly missed and is truly the last his kind; the last of a generation. Rest in Peace, Uncle Paul.

The Emberley Family. So sorry to hear of Paul's passing, he was like a second dad to me. I have a lot of memories of him, way to many to mention! I always speak about the family that I spent so many years with, and that I basically grew up in Bay De Verde. It was a double saddness, because Vic's passing Feberuay 2rd was just as much a shock. Want to pass along sincere sympathy from both myself and Frank. Will always remember your family, they were so good to me.

It is with great sadness I reflect on my great uncle Paul Emberley's historic life, albeit with great pride I remember his wonderful contribution to Bay de Verde and the Newfoundland and Labrador way of life, in general. Unfortunately we are out of town on business and not able to attend his celebration of life, but I must say that Uncle Paul was a true ambassador of his community; a man steeped in the past and tradition, yet always looking to what the future would hold. A predisposition truly deserving of this Canadian Governor General Award recipient. He will be truly missed. Rest in peace. Sincerely with loving memories... My condolences and sadness to all of the family in the passing of Uncle Paul. My memories of him will always be so sweet. He always brought a smile to my face and a joy to my heart. I was blessed to have him as an Uncle and will always hold his memory in high regard. There are not too many left like this special person. He was attune with all that God graced him with in life. He loved deeply all those he called family & friend. He will be deeply missed but he leaves a legacy of shining example for the rest of us to aspire to. May God receive him into his most desrving rest and reward. I wish I could be there to celebrate his life with you. For now, my prayers are with you in this time. I give God thanks for his life.
