PARSONS, William Anthony 'Tony' - Passed suddenly away at his residence on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, William Anthony 'Tony' Parsons of Heart's Content, age 50 years. Predeceased by father: Richard Freeman Parsons and mother-in-law: Margaret Piercey. Leaving to mourn, mother: Winifred Parsons, Carbonear; former wife: Carol Parsons, Heart's Content; three daughters: Beverley (Philip) Alcock, Alberta, Brenda (Peter) Bishop, South River and Candace Parsons (Ryan Woodford), Alberta; father-in-law: Ralph Piercey, Heart's Content; three brothers: Gerald (Jean), Heart's Content, Rick (Daphne) and Rod (Georgina), both of Carbonear; five sisters: Emma (Allan) Jackson, Coley's Point, Selma (Ted) Mercer, Bay Roberts, Debbie (Wayne) Adams and Joan (Paul) Penney, both of Carbonear and Ada (Rex) Slade, Salmon Cove; six brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law; twenty-seven nieces and nephews; two great-nephews and four grand puppies; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Monday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
