ANTLE, Obediah- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital, on Friday, September 19, 2008, Obediah Antle of Victoria, age 82 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Elizabeth; brothers: James, Arthur and Joshua; sisters: Jessie Louise, Lillian and Helena. Leaving to mourn: wife: Bertha; two sons: Ellis (Joyce) and Obediah (Jeanette), both of Victoria; eight grandchildren: Sandra (James), Renee (Christopher), Maryann (Keith), Charlene (Henry), Leslie (Wanda), Judy (Todd), Louise (Wayne) and Kelly (Don); fifteen great-grandchildren: Christopher (April), Santina (Lucas), Shauna, Andrew, Deserae, Abagail, Terry-Lynn (Byron), April, Travis, Tracey (Scott), Ashley (Eugene), David, Tiffany, Maurissa and Brandon; five great-great grandchildren: Destiny, Tyler, Breden, Carter and Michael; two brothers: Francis (Madeline), Victoria and Eleazer, St. John's; two sisters: Sarah Jane (Job) Snow and Elizabeth Burke, both of Victoria; brother-in-law: Charles Antle, Victoria and sister-in-law: Phyllis Byrne, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, September 22, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Daffodil Place, St. John's.
