SNELGROVE, John Charles - Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Thursday, October 2, 2008, John Charles Snelgrove of Lower Island Cove, age 84 years. Predeceased by parents: Abhram and Elnora; granddaughter: Sarah; brothers: Henry, Herbert, Simeon and William; sisters: Florence, Susie, Sarah and Lizzy. Leaving to mourn, wife: Jessie; one daughter: Elnora (John), Guelph, ON; three sons: Kenneth (Carol), Baxter (Sandra) and Cecil (Rose), all of Lower Island Cove; eleven grandchildren: Donna, Delores, Darren, Tammy, Kimberley, Cory, Tracy, Bradley, Krystle, Jason and DJ; three great-grandchildren: Adrian, Abigail and Kirestan; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove and from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the John Charles Snelgrove Memorial Fund.
