COLLINS, Hayward - Passed suddenly away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 8, 2008, Hayward Collins of Victoria, age 74 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Susannah; sisters: Linda (Leo) Galway, Molly (William) Rose and Elizabeth (Harold) Penney; brother-in-law: Alex Jenkins. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Ada (Jack) Deering, Freshwater, Carbonear, Susanne Collins (Greg Slade), Victoria, Wanda Trickett (Derek), Carbonear and Kimberly Collins, Ontario; one son: Billy (Jenny-Lee), Germany; son-in-law: Johnny Trickett (Cindy), Carbonear; eight grandchildren: Jacqueline (James), Steven, Ryan, Candace, Adam, Jackie (Chad), Dakota and Dakita; three great-grandchildren: Monica, Cameron and Alaya; two brothers: Wilson Sr. (Florence) and William (Elsie), both of Victoria; one sister: Leah Jenkins, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, 58 Kenmount Road, P.O. Box 13791, Stn. A, St. John's, NL, A1B 4G3.
