Buckle, Eugene 'Gene' - Passed suddenly away at CWJM Hospital, Labrador City on Sunday, November 9, 2008, Eugene 'Gene' Buckle of Labrador City, age 69 years. Predeceased by parents: Isaac and Emily; parents-in-law: Maxwell and Marjorie Green; sister: Annie Chubbs; brothers: George, Clifford and William; sister-in-law: Clarice Buckle; brothers-in-law: Gus Chubbs and Clarence Baldwin; aunts: Louise Marshall and Alice Butt. Leaving to mourn, wife: Peggy; one daughter: Susan (Rick) Waterman, Halifax, NS; one son: Christopher Buckle, Edmonton, AB; three grandchildren: Meghan, Jeremy and Ryan Waterman; one brother: Reuben (Mary), Carbonear; two brothers-in-law: Marvin (Triffie) Green, Carbonear and Gary (Genny) Green, Mount Pearl; sister-in-law: Patsy Baldwin of Victoria; also a large number of other relatives, friends, nieces and nephews. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Association.
