We were saddened to read that Mrs. Baker had passed away. She was our Mother's roommate at Carbonear Hospital for many weeks just before Mrs. Baker when to Collingwood Downs Seniors Complex in Clarkes Beach, NL. She was a lovely lady who always loved to show off her pictures. There was always a story behind each one which she would always tell us. When visiting Mom at the hospital over those few weeks she would pull over her chair and take part in the visit too. There are nine children in our family so we and our own families had many a visit with Mom and Mrs. Baker. Some of us had visited Mrs. Baker on occasion within those first couple of months when she first went to Collingwood. She loved to sit in the sitting room to visit, and always appreciated it when we brought her a little something. May God bless her.
