Obituary of Walter G. Butt

BUTT, Walter G.- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, February 16, 2009, Walter G. Butt of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents: Michael and Dorothy; brother: Ron; brothers-in-law: Leo Wrice, Joseph Sullivan and Ray Reynolds. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Janet Butt, St. John's; five sons: Greg (Sherry), Victoria, Dale (Daphne), Shearstown, Paul, Riverhead, Harbour Grace, Grant, Harbour Grace South and Stephen, St. John's; grandchildren: Caitlyn, Christopher, Gregory, Jonathan, Shane and Brandon; two brothers: John (Mary) and Edward (Helen), both of Harbour Grace; five sisters: Mary (Jim) Cashin, Helen (Danny) Dionne, both of Gander, Frances Wrice, Carbonear, Vivian Sullivan and Jean Reynolds, both of Riverhead, Harbour Grace and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral mass to take place on Thursday, February 19 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the TCP Health Foundation.
