PENNEY, Angela- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, February 19, 2009, Angela Penney of Victoria, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: Samuel E.; sons: Albert, Trenny and Leonard; grandson: Juan; parents: Leonard and Georgina Antle; sister: Sophie; brothers: Willis and Clyde. Leaving to mourn: six daughters: Rosalind ( Jim) Goulette, NB, Elda (Robert) Noonan, Victoria, Georgina Bimm, Elsie (Wade) Abbott and Linda Penney, all of Carbonear and Ardena Reynolds, St. John's; sons: Edward and Mark, both of Carbonear, Val (Marg), Tom (Hilda), Robert (Joan), Pat (Brenda), Frank and Jason (Maggie), all of Victoria and Stanley, Adams Cove; thirty-one grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Shirley Penney, Carbonear; two sisters: Annie Penney, Steyner, ON and Elsie Clarke, Hoyles Home, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Daffodil Place, St. John's.
